PHILADELPHIA -- PABJ is proud to sponsor four noted artistic directors for a chat on dance titled "Perfect Motion: The Evolution and Diversity of Dance." The event is being held as a prelude to two nights of performances in Philadelphia by the renowned Dance Theater of Harlem.

Appearing will be Robert Garland, resident choreographer for the Dance Theater of Harlem; Joan Myers Brown, artistic director/founder of Philadanco; Roy Kaiser, artistic director of the Pennsylvania Ballet, and Rennie Harris, artistic director/founder of Rennie Harris Puremovement.

Denise Saunders, KYW-TV news anchor/reporter, will moderate the panel discussion.

The event will be held at 6 p.m. Wed., May 30, 2001, in the Public Room at the Philadelphia Inquirer/Daily News building, Broad and Callowhill Streets. It is free and open to the public.

"Perfect Motion" is co-sponsored by Philadelphia Newspapers Inc., Dance Affiliates and The Mann Center for the Performing Arts.
