PHOTO EXHIBIT

"Hot Atlantic City Night Life"
Photographs by Edward B. Lea

Edward B. Lea, of Atlantic City, joined The Press of Atlantic City as a staff photographer in 1996. Edward began his love affair with the camera at the age of 16, shooting portfolio photos for aspiring models. He has been a professional photographer since 1980. Self-taught, he began his artistic endeavors in commercial photography.

Edward believes everyone is an artist, especially the subjects he photographs. His style reflects his meticulous attention to detail and his unique and unorthodox lighting techniques. He is a down-to-earth, warm and good-humored person. His smile and friendly manner immediately set his subjects at ease. Once behind the camera, his skill and creativity enable him to perfect every detail of his craft. This year, Lea won second place in Sports Action from the New Jersey Press Association.
