PHILADELPHIA, July 8, 2002 - The Philadelphia Association
of Black Journalists (PABJ) sponsors the Philadelphia Book Launch Party
for best-selling author Karen E. Quinones Miller's highly anticipated
new novel "I'm Telling." This literary event of the summer takes
place Tuesday, July 16, 2002, from 6- 8 p.m. at Brave New World, 720 Arch
St., Philadelphia, PA.
Too hot to handle is the only way to describe this summer sizzler. Miller's
newest blockbuster has been praised as "an action-packed emotional
ride." Told through the voice of innocence, "I'm Telling"
is a gripping tale of family secrets and taboo.
A Blackboard and Essence Magazine best-selling novelist, Miller will be
selling and signing her latest work. A portion of the proceeds from the
book sales for the evening will benefit the PABJ Scholarship Fund.
A noted authority on self-publishing, Miller is the founder of Oshun Publishing
Co. Inc. Oshun published the first release of Miller's "Satin Doll"
and the best-seller "Yo Yo Love" by up-and-coming novelist Daimah
S. Poole. You may read excerpts from Miller's publications by visiting
her website.
