Urban Journalism Workshop

In partnership with the Philadelphia Daily News, PABJ hosts an annual Urban Journalism Workshop for High School Students. During the workshop, students spend an intensive week working hands-on with the journalists of “The People Paper”, and create their own special newspaper edition.

In addition to the workshop, PABJ awards one college scholarship to a student who performs exemplary work during the workshop.

The Urban Journalism Workshop is administered by the Philadelphia Daily News.
